I am so proud of the Dallas Mavericks in these finals because they came in as the underdogs and they are holding their own. The Dallas Marvicks clenched game five of the MBA Finals by defeating the Miami Heat 112-103. I thought that after all the criticism that LeBron James' received after his menial 8-point performance in Game 4, that he would come out and whip some Maverick butt. We all waited with baited breath, thinking that this would be the beginning of the ultimate basketball challenge... Instead, Heat fans were left disappointed and defeated! Now the Mavericks are only one win away from having it all.
As for Scottie Pippins recent comments about LeBron James possibly being "the greatest player to ever play the game"...what do you have to say now! No player on the basketball court is a threat to being a better basketball player than Michael Jordan; Jordan is the king of basketball because he could had one characteristic that Lebron hasn't acquired yet...He is a closer. In the fourth quarter, you could always count on Jordan to get that last shot. Even when the Bulls couldn't hold it together, Michael would consistently score at least 30 points. I don't know if I can ever remember a game where Jordan was reduced to 8 points...in any game! Maybe LeBron needs to play a little more in the league and get more rings before he can be compared to Jordan; because right now...he is not even in the same league. To Scottie: Let Lebron get at least 1 ring...then we can revisit this conversation!!!!!.. What do you think?
